New and used books, good gifts and better recommendations — Haida Gwaii's independent bookstore for island communities. Come browse in Daajing Giids, or shop online from anywhere on the islands.
There is one bookstore on Haida Gwaii, and this is it. Which 3rd Avenue Books is a small, independent shop at the west end of Daajing Giids — a place to lose an afternoon among the shelves, ask what's worth reading, and carry something home. New books and used ones share the same rooms, and there's usually a recommendation waiting the moment you walk in.
When a title isn't on the shelf, we'll order it in. When you can't make it to the shop, you can browse online and collect it, or have it delivered across southern Graham Island. It's a bookshop built for the whole archipelago.
